Our client is looking for a Client Services Supervisor (Defined Contribution) who will supervise a team of Plan Administrators as they manage client 401(k) plans

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coach, counsel, and discipline employees; plan, monitor, and appraise job results; conduct training; and implement systems, policies, and procedures
  • Develop schedules; assign and monitor work to meet deadlines; implement productivity standards; resolve operations problems; and maintain job aides/reference manuals
  • Ensure team members understand client requirements in service-level agreements and deliver expected outcomes
  • Assist Manager with strategic development, and implementation of operational goals and objectives

Job Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in DC Retirement Plan Administration, prefarably starting as a plan administrator before moving up to the team leader/manager level
  • Experience in a third party administrator environment preferred
  • Supervisory experience is required, including experience coaching and evaluating direct reports
  • Understanding of relevant IRS, DOL and ERISA regulations and ability to communicate them effectively
  • Experience with ASC systems strongly preferred
  • Strong organization and communications skills with the ability to work independently
