Our client is seeking a Human Resources Manager for two facilities in the St. Louis are. This role is responsible for supporting a wide variety of HR activities working as a collaborative partner with all local employees, managers, corporate HR team, and as a contributing member of both companies' leadership teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Human Resources function in the areas of employment, health and safety and employee/labor relations
  • Oversee day-to-day human resources related activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services and resolution of issues on behalf of the employees
  • Manage the administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the parties and any other support activities, to include grievance administration, contract negotiations, and legal support activities
  • Work with appropriate staff to investigate and resolve employee relations issues and provide local oversight and management of centralized wage and salary programs, health & welfare plans, performance management, and various other centralized employee programs
  • Assure that all policies, practices, and actions of the facility comply with all applicable provisions of both Federal and State laws and company policy
  • Support the administration of benefit programs for the company and recommends improvements in programs

Job Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of progressive HR experience required, with at least 2 years of direct support of labor relations activities in a represented union site preferred
  • M&A and integration experience a plus
  • In-depth understanding of state and federal employment regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Energetic and positive personality/style that takes pride in ownership
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field of study. MBA or Master's degree preferred
